VEGETABLE FRIED RICE
- Rice - 2 cups,
- Oil - 3 tbsp,
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Soya Sauce - 2 tbsp.
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp.
- White pepper powder- 1/4 tsp.
- Garlic - 1 tsp. Finely chopped,
- Cabbage - 100gm Finely chopped,
- Spring Onion - 2 Finely chopped,
- Carrot - 2 Finely chopped ,
- Bell pepper - 2 pieces finely chopped.
METHOD
- Note:Before Cooking.Wash and soak the rice in enough water for half an hour.and drain.keep aside.
- Boil a plenty of water add Rice , salt 1 tsp.and oil 1 tbsp.
- Cook and Keep uncovered the boiled water ,Cook the rice till tender ,on low heat,it takes about 7-9 minutes.
- Note:Take care not to overcook the Rice,each grain of rice should be separate.
- When Rice is done ,drain it and add some cold water and drain again using a large seive and set aside.
- Heat oil in kadhahi in large pan and add Garlic paste ,stir fry all the chopped vegetables.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes.Add Soya sauce .
- Note:Take care that vegetables are not overdone ,they should be crisp.
- Just sprinkle the salt and black pepper and White pepper powder.
- Add the cooked Rice in fried vegetables and mix well.
- Cover the Rice and Cook the chinese rice for 3-4 minutes and serve hot.
