VEGETABLE FRIED RICE

VEGETABLE FRIED RICE

  1. Rice - 2 cups,
  2. Oil  -  3 tbsp,
  3. Salt - 1 tsp.
  4. Soya Sauce - 2 tbsp.
  5. Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp.
  6. White pepper powder- 1/4 tsp.
  7. Garlic - 1 tsp. Finely chopped,
  8. Cabbage - 100gm Finely chopped,
  9. Spring Onion - 2 Finely chopped,
  10. Carrot -  2 Finely chopped ,
  11. Bell pepper - 2 pieces finely chopped. 
METHOD
  1. Note:Before Cooking.Wash and soak the rice in enough water for half an hour.and drain.keep aside.
  2. Boil a plenty of water add Rice , salt 1 tsp.and oil 1 tbsp.
  3. Cook and Keep uncovered the boiled water ,Cook the rice till tender ,on low heat,it takes about 7-9 minutes.
  4. Note:Take care not to overcook the Rice,each grain of rice should be separate.
  5. When Rice is done ,drain it and add some cold water and drain again using a large seive and set aside.
  6. Heat oil in kadhahi in large pan and add Garlic paste ,stir fry all the chopped vegetables.
  7. Cook for 3-4 minutes.Add Soya sauce .
  8. Note:Take care that vegetables are not overdone ,they should be crisp.
  9. Just sprinkle the salt and black pepper and White pepper powder.
  10. Add the cooked Rice in fried vegetables and mix well.
  11. Cover the Rice and Cook the chinese rice for 3-4  minutes and serve hot.
